SESSION OBSERVATIONS

What this visit recorded.

The first reading appears within seconds. Each five-minute refresh adds a point.

No observations recorded yet in this session.

Recorded samples only. A missing observation is not a count of zero, and sampled data never replaces the launch record.

READING THE COUNTER

What this number can and cannot tell you.

Concurrent players are people in the game through Steam at the same moment. It is not unique players, downloads, accounts, or revenue. Online games have daily rhythms — evenings, weekends, maintenance and patches all move the line, so compare similar hours rather than launch night versus a quiet morning.

AION 2 also runs on NC's PURPLE platform, which this endpoint does not see. Treat the Steam count as a floor on the game's population, never a total. For how snapshots are captured and what happens when a request fails, see the methodology.
